TV review - Hospital Chaplains

Hospital Chaplains is a new series on ABC television that follows the chaplains’ journeys alongside the patients and families at three major hospitals. The Compass crew have filmed six chaplains of various denominations (Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Jewish and Buddhist) from three different hospitals as they go about their very important daily work.

This eight-part series follows the chaplains’ journeys alongside patients and their families: a child victim of a hit-and-run, a baby’s miracle birth and the anguished vigil for a father-of-three on life-support ... Just a few of the everyday crises captured in this series.

Hospital Chaplains: starts 6.30pm April 15 on ABC-TV1
