2. Don't this little lot of Hungarians has anything better to protest about?
   The Satanists don't come to their church weekly to protest against their discrimination of Satan and demonizing Satanist (no pun intended).
   The last time I remembered someone waging evil war causing so much murder and destruction in Iraq was a God-believing Christian, George Bush, and an Anglo-Catholic Tony Blair, who made Satanists look rather mild in contrast.

3. Marilyn Manson types are the end product of the failed sexual revolution with all its perversions. I am pleased that Catholics somewhere are standing up against gross immorality, violence and hatred against Christianity. Let us also continue to resist those so-called Catholics who want the Church to import and legitimise the sexual revolution within our own midst.

7. If you don't fight against Satan and his puppets, then he will fight to take our children's spirits into his realm of perverseness. If we don't even believe in Satan, then, well, he won. He is killing children's spirits as much as Hitler and Stalin have killed physically. To "leave him alone" is to accept his message. Prayer is such a quiet and humble thing. Why are you against it? Do you think it can do any harm?

8. This is a spiritual battle that has been taking place for souls since the beginning. ONLY prayer and fasting can send the devil back to hell where he belongs. Marilyn Manson is a child of God and his soul and all those who follow him matter to God. We must protect our youth and do battle for them. Those who hate God do not know Him. Open yourselves and ask Him to come into your hearts!

9. Our Lord Jesus Christ said that with faith, prayer can move mountains. In conjunction with fasting, it is like the equivalent of a weapon of mass destruction where the target is sin. You point the prayer and fasting at the sin and blam--goodbye sin. Goodbye satan, hello Jesus!

11. The fact is that Satanists hate christianity and especially Catholiics. Of course they do not want the Satanists to come around, and it's absurd that anyone is defending them. Their values are evil, anarchy, and death.
    
    This is a Catholic website. Anyone who claims to be Catholic, but defends this guy and satanists, is not truly Catholic. You must reject Satan and all of his works as per the oath at baptism. If you reject this oath, then you reject your christianity.
    
    Mr. Lawson writes "The last time ...someone waging evil war...was...George Bush, etc." You are wrong. This guy, with his music is an evil war and you can't see it. There are holy wars all over the globe all the time. You live in a liberal ideology fantasyland. Wake up and defend your brethren.
    
    The problem is that the liberals try to find compromise and a gray area. But this is a fight between good and evil. Stop acting like you have some intellectual advantage because you tolerate evil. I guarantee if these people were coming to your house you would protest too. How would you like your daughter to be exposed the evil satanists chanting deathwishes? Oh, but this is in Hungary so its not your problem. Whatever. You ARE your brother's keeper.
    
    And, yes, prayer can change anything.

16. This is yet another example of people standing up for what is right and doing something very powerful to stop evil from spreading and causing even more havoc. Let us pray & fast for this poor lost soul who Jesus died for and shed his blood for. Let us pray that our brother has a conversion and thereby will live the rest of his day's glorifying God rather than despising God. On a side note the worst world atrocities have been commited by individuals possessed by Satan and immersed in the Occult ie Hitler who was possessed and obsessed with the occult is a good example. If he learned how to follow his Christian roots and pray to Jesus for guidance there would be millions more people who would have been spared from death camps and murder. He was a fallen away Christian - those people who don't practise their faith or fall away are the most dangerous and I believe are sitting ducks for the devil to use unknowingly for his evil purposes.

18. To be honest, I would rather read the bible then listen to the washed-out dead beat so-called band called Marilyn Manson anyways. He is not doing anything that has not been done before. Marilyn Manson is just begging for attention and trying to get everyone's panties in a bunch cause he is an empty and sad individual. He calls himself an artist, but what has he even accomplished to even consider art? His music? LOL it sucks! I guess you cannot sing from the heart if you do not have one. Good going Christians!! Ban this worthless waste of time and all his followers!!

19. Several years ago MM came to Budapest to perform. At that time there was an intense effort on the part of Christians of every confession to prevent his coming, through prayer and fasting. Of course, he showed up on schedule and the concert went on. Christians walked around the concert site and prayed in groups. It gave some opportunities to talk to the concert-goers as they came out. A friend of mine who is a psychiatrist said that she used the time to pray for MM (Brian) himself. Well, he's still who he was then, but all this prayer might eventually help, if it was prayed in a positve manner rather than a negative one. Love is what overcomes, not fear.
    By the way, there was so much internet activity in Budapest concerning the prayer action against Manson, that the police started investigating and intimidated some of the peaceful walkers and prayers on the night of the concert!
    Only that which is done in selfless love is of eternal value.

21. I firmly believe we are in a period of discernment where we have to make a choice between God or secularism. Of course, since the beginning of time we have had to make that choice, but due to the ability to reach people in every area of the globe, as well as the accessibility of the Word of God everywhere, that choice has become our salvation or destruction. I can tell by the many comments to many articles over the years that many people believe it is no longer important to think about salvation for whatever reason. Unbelievers profess to be too smart to believe in God but one thing they can't do is change their way of thinking after they die. Too late then!!

23. Cotter-Apparently you don't pray enough. Prayer has stopped and lessened some of the wrath that we have deserved on a number of occasions. Prayer can also lesson a soul's time in Purgatory. Then again, if you aren't a praying man, you probably don't have a clue as to what I'm talking about.

God bless us all. there are evil people and good ones. this is a time we have to wake up and choose sides. we are not just floating in air on earth we have been born here for a purpose. to find it, go to the bible and pray for guidance. If you don't want to believe it you will pay. You are being given a test by God you only have to answer to HIM. His Son died so you can go to heaven. You both will be disappointed if you choose wrongly. Hope you like the heat if you choose not to choose at all.

27. I think as Catholics, we should be praying for his repentance and conversion. ("Love the sinner, but hate the sin", the Lord said) He attended a Christian bible based school as a child. He said in an interview that he suffered sexual abuse at the hands of his grandfather for years as a child. He really needs our prayers, he is a lost soul. There, but for the grace of God, go we.

30. Father, we just pray for Manson that you would reach Him. You know how to reach HIm and only you can. Father I pray he would know he is loved by you and draw him to yourself. It says who the son sets free is free indeed and I pray you would free him into a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ and that his followers would come to Jesus. We rebuke the enemy's attempt to destroy youth through his music and please free him and his fans. I pray Christian will show him the love of Jesus in a way he will understand. In Jesus' Name amen.
