---

Catholic Healthcare says all staff at St Vincent's hospital in Bathurst who have not resigned or found alternative work will receive the details of their redundancy packages in the coming days.

The western region organiser of the New South Wales Nurses Association, Linda Griffiths, says the redundancy packages will provide some long-awaited certainty for nurses, reports ABC.

"It is good in the sense that there is going to be some prospect of employment for those nurses down at the base hospital," she said.

Catholic Healthcare are being very reasonable in keeping the nurses informed as to their redundancy payout. So the nurses will know exactly what the projection of their payout figure will be."

The group behind the facility, Day Procedures Australia, has agreed to negotiate an enterprise agreement with the nurses' association, said the report.
