CathNews voted best online publication

CathNews has taken the gold award for Best Electronic Publication at the Australian Religious Press Association Awards for Excellence, according to a list of winners released by the association.

Eureka Street won the silver award in the same category.

Publications and news outlets were honoured in a total of 22 categories, including Best News item. The NZ Catholic won the gold award in that field, for its story in September 12-25 last year, Quake-hit parishes rally.
