Catholic Schools Week puts 'faith in every student'

‘‘Faith In Every Student’’ is the theme for Catholic Schools Week in NSW, which began yesterday, reports The Newcastle Herald.

The week will involve the communities of all 615 Catholic primary and secondary schools in NSW and the ACT. All provide quality education in a faith-centred environment.

First and foremost, the week is about celebration. The main aim is to raise awareness and celebrate the strength and distinctiveness of Catholic schools.

Catholic schools enrol about 20 per cent of Australian school students.
