Catholic teachers have accepted a wage deal, but their union says it is a "mean" one.
After seven months of negotiations and statewide strikes Catholic teachers have accepted a 2.7 per cent annual salary increase over the next three years - the same increase as the state sector.
But Independent Education Union of Australia - Queensland branch secretary Terry Burke said the deal was not as well received as those in the past.
"Normally we have less than one in 10 people who vote against an agreement," Mr Burke said.
"This time in the Religious Institute schools there are one in three who voted against it and in the Diocesan one in five that voted against it.
Queensland Catholic Education Commission executive director Mike Byrne said: "The wages outcome is comparable to the state school sector.”
