Preparing hearts for pilgrimage

Preparing pilgrims for an event such as World Youth Day starts with us, says Bishop Peter Comensoli, Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney.

He was speaking at the World Youth Day Formation for Pilgrimage Group Coordinators in September.

He said pilgrimage involves prayer, penance, planning, prudence.

“All of us can work on our prayer life. We should pray for those on pilgrimage with us so that we can be the face of Christ for others.”
