    Gospel Matthew 7:21-29

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord”, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. 22On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?”

  3. Anger, God and truth

    05-Mar-2011

    05-Mar-2011

Political refugees in Laos and Libya, together with court cases in India and Britain, led the list of items in this week's international digest. Quirky stories about the origins of Biblical blue, and the gender breakdown of Vatican citizens added to the mix.

    05-Mar-2011

During his only visit to Australia, my distinguished seminary classmate from Roman days was amazed to find two such majestic Cathedrals as St Patrick's in Melbourne and St Mary's in Sydney. In this recent book, Wardell emerges as a devout believer whose church architecture expresses his deep faith, writes Michael Costigan in The Record.

  10. The challenge of being a parent, God's grace, and Charlie Sheen

    05-Mar-2011

Every time there is another report about Charlie Sheen entering rehab, all I can think is, “Poor Martin”. It can’t be easy to watch your son implode on every media outlet willing to take advantage of someone who is obviously really ill, writes Renée Schafer Horton in the NCR Blog.
