Executive Officer – Part-Time
(Home office arrangement possible)
The Federation of Religious Institute and Ministerial PJP Catholic School Authorities in NSW and the ACT is the peak body in NSW and the ACT for the schools owned and administered by the Catholic School Authorities. The Executive Officer’s prime role is to conduct the Federation’s office, and to be the first point of contact with the Members and their representatives, as well as supporting the Council (Board) and the Education Committee in carrying out its governance and other responsibilities.
The successful applicant will possess high level administrative, secretarial, communication and organisational skills, and also be able to attend to the company secretary and bookkeeping responsibilities associated with the role.
An understanding of the Catholic Church and its hierarchical structures, as well as a commitment to its ethos and principles will be essential.
The time commitment is 15 hours per week (2 days) with flexibility to suit the employee, but also to meet the peak periods associated with the position.
An attractive salary commensurate with the responsibilities attached to the role is being offered.
There is also an opportunity for the successful applicant to operate from a properly set up home office arrangement, for which an appropriate monetary allowance will be paid. It would be expected that the applicant would reside in Sydney.
