Catholic Film Office presents 'films for a lockdown’

(Bigstock)

As Australians stay home this Easter long weekend, it’s an opportune time to check out some recent movies you might have missed on the big screen. The Australian Catholic Office for Film and Broadcasting has compiled a list of “films for a lockdown”.

Fr Richard Leonard, director of the ACOFB, said the list contains “some of the best films in recent years which should be found on various streaming services”.

“Please check out the film first for its rating for language, violence and content and search for our office’s review of that title at https://www.catholic.org.au/film-reviews so that you make the best decisions for you and your family,” Fr Leonard said.

“While there is a good range of genres here, there are those titles which some people would find offensive or difficult to watch.”
